My Story

With over 16 years of experience in the higher education finance industry, I am a results-driven professional recognized for my strategic planning, development, and management of thriving financial departments. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated an innate ability to empower cross-functional teams, boost morale, and achieve common goals. My expertise spans strategic planning, forecasting, audit processes, revenue and profit growth, business development, curriculum development, project management, sales planning, marketing, financial planning and analysis, staff training, leadership, and compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial policies.

Currently serving as the Senior Corporate Director of Financial Aid & System Administrator at Concorde Career Colleges, I oversee operational efficacy and compliance across 17 campuses. I have successfully managed program reviews, audits, assessments, and visits by internal, federal, and state agencies. Notable achievements include implementing the organization's first training initiatives for cross-departmental stakeholders, sourcing additional fund sources to aid students, and leading successful FSA audits with minimal findings.

In previous roles, including Director of Student Finance at IEC Holdings and Regional Director of Financial Aid at AHED, I developed and implemented strategic financial aid strategies to ensure compliance with regulations while maximizing budget allocations and increasing retention efforts.

With a Doctor of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Finance from Western Governors University, along with Project Management Certification, I bring a comprehensive educational background to complement my extensive professional experience.
